Project Summary

The AJEAN Road Safety (ARS) project by TEFA e.V. aims to enhance road safety and mobility in the Ngoula district of Yaoundé, Cameroon. Targeting issues like unsafe roads, high accident rates, and lack of traffic awareness, ARS fosters community involvement and promotes responsible behaviors through education, training, and media outreach.

Project Objectives

  • Infrastructure Assessment: Identifying road conditions and mobility challenges in Ngoula.
  • Education & Training: Conducting workshops on safe driving practices and traffic rules.
  • Community Involvement: Partnering with schools, motorbike taxi drivers, and local authorities for a unified approach.
  • Public Awareness Campaigns: Reaching a wider audience through social media, radio, and printed materials.
  • Impact Evaluation: Setting measurable goals to track project progress.
